Knowing someone is thinking of you when you’re under the weather is one of the most heartwarming feelings.  When you’re ill or just not quite yourself, what better way to get your mind off things than an assortment of goodies.  When I was very sick in 2014, requiring home health to come assist me 2-3 times a week, there were many days or weeks where I could not leave my own home.

Something that would have eased the concept of having to stay in the four walls of my living room, would have been a gift basket of items to pass the time.  While I appreciate all that was done for me, I think “What would I like if I were in that predicament again?”.

From not being able to fully bathe each day all the way to not being very mobile, items to aid in one’s recovery are such a welcome necessity, or perhaps a distraction.

It’s completely possible to grab some adult care items, found in club at Sam’s Club, and put together a thoughtful sunshine basket of sorts.
